The Maple Glen Church is one of about 60 churches in the Bible Fellowship Church denomination, which began in 1858 and now spans seven states and Mexico. The church began in 1903 and has been at its present location since 1965. (For more about our history, click here.)

What We Believe We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. God's inerrant revelation is our only authority for faith and life. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that every person by nature, because of sin, is under the wrath of God and is justly condemned to hell. We believe that God sent His Son to become a man, Jesus Christ, so that through His perfect sacrifice on the cross, our sins could be forgiven. Through His death, resurrection, ascension, and exaltation, we have been given a new life and have been adopted as God's sons and daughters. Our justification before God is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We believe that Christ has instituted the local church for the instruction and fellowship of believers, for the worship and service of God, and for bringing the Good News of Jesus to people everywhere in the world. We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
